PROJECTS

Different problems call for different approaches.

Every project starts with different needs, people and constraints. Here I share some of the challenges I have worked on, the decisions I made, and what I designed and built to address them.

THREE PROJECTS, THREE DIFFERENT NEEDS

An event management dashboard, on-site booking for a multilingual website, and calendars synchronized with Airbnb: three projects shaped by different operational needs.

Tourism

Luisa Quaglia - Tour Guide

The need: The existing website no longer represented Luisa’s work: its structure and journeys were unclear, and the mobile experience was weak.

The decision: Redesign the public website and later add, at Luisa’s request, a dedicated dashboard for managing events.

What I built: I reworked the structure, content and responsive journeys. The authenticated dashboard lets Luisa and her collaborators create, edit and delete tours, and manage images, text and descriptions, dates, times, prices, availability and capacity. New events are published automatically on the website. Supabase handles the database and authentication, with storage where used. The website also includes multilingual content, search and filters, maps, reviews and booking.

Outcome: Luisa can manage tours, content and availability without relying on Francesca; the website better represents her work and has a rethought mobile experience.

Winery

Les Crêtes - winery

The need: Built from scratch, the project needed to bring wine, the winery, the local area, events and experiences together in clear journeys for an international audience.

The decision: Create a multilingual information architecture with distinct journeys and an on-site booking system for different reservation types.

What I built: I handled web design, UX/UI, technical architecture and frontend development. The site manages localized routes, metadata and hreflang, as well as localized forms and messages and dedicated experience pages. Booking handles reservation types, dates, times, party size, availability, prices and customer details; it includes confirmation and payment, and stores reservations in a database. I also worked on technical SEO, performance, accessibility and responsive behavior.

Outcome: Content and journeys for wine, the winery, events and experiences are available across languages, with bookings made directly on the website.

My role: Web design · UX/UI · Frontend development · Technical architecture

Collaboration: Visual design developed in collaboration with a graphic designer.

Hospitality

Agriturismo Segarelli

The need: The business needed a more representative website and a way to avoid manually updating availability across separate calendars.

The decision: Add two-way iCal synchronization between the website and Airbnb, with independent calendars for three or more properties.

What I built: I handled web design, UX/UI, frontend development and integrations on my own. The website displays prices and availability; when a booking arrives from Airbnb, the site calendar updates automatically. A headless WordPress CMS lets the client manage the blog and editorial content. The project does not include a complete on-site booking system.

Outcome: Availability stays more consistent between the website and Airbnb with fewer manual updates, while the client can manage editorial content in the CMS.

Tendeclissi

Interior and exterior solutions

The need: For a project built from scratch, private customers, professionals and companies needed to find relevant products and services and understand how to request contact or a site visit.

What I built: I developed the responsive frontend, filterable gallery and form. After submission, one notification goes to the customer and another to the team. UX/UI was handled by an external designer.

Outcome: The site visit request follows a clearer path and collects information that helps qualify the lead.

My role: Frontend development

Collaboration: UX/UI by an external designer.

Bimbozen

E-commerce

The need: The shop needed to turn an existing brand identity into a clear digital experience for products, age groups and purchase occasions.

What I built: I handled digital design, UX/UI and frontend development. The catalog includes filters, variants, age groups, gift cards, search and customer accounts; cart and checkout use standard Shopify features. Custom sections and integrations connect the shop with external apps and services. The client can manage products, collections, prices, inventory, orders and content.

Outcome: A structured catalog aligned with the existing brand identity and manageable by the client independently.

My role: Web design · UX/UI · Frontend development · Shopify/Liquid

Collaboration: Brand identity by a graphic designer; development also involved other developers.

The need: Built from scratch, the project needed to help patients, doctors, laboratories and partners find relevant information and understand the service.

What I built: I handled web design, UX/UI, information architecture, technical architecture, frontend development and technical SEO. I reorganized some of the supplied content and designed distinct audience journeys; the website includes a CMS. The Collect → Monitor → Resolve flow was defined together with the client.

Outcome: The service and its information are easier to understand and find, with a clearer contact journey and a scalable content structure.
